Calculation of DC electromagnet and its experimental verification
Steidl, Adam ; Vetiška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
Content of this thesis deals with electromagnets as operating elements in electric machines. Thesis is divided in two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes electromagnets as electric machine , usage of electromagnets in electrical devices as operating element. Electromagnets are further divided in groups on basis of different criteria. Next, the theory of electromagnetic fields and methods of assesment of static pull and dynamic characteristics is described. Construction and function analysis of researched electromagnet with permanent magnets, which serves as trigger in compact circuit breaker, is also included in this part. Practical part includes measurement of force quantities of researched electromagnet in different operating states an its evaluation. For analysis of dynamic quantities with finite element method were created two-dimensional and three-dimensional models. Evaluation of analysis follows. After that is described simplified design of electromagnet, based onoperating states of researched electromagnet. This part is closed with comparation between results of analysis and designed values of electromagnets.
Design of DC electromagnet
Mayer, Aleš ; Bušov, Bohuslav (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with electromagnets and measurements on them. There is described the history of discovery of electromagnets, the principle of operation, their construction, and classification according to various criteria. More detailed descriptions of individual basic types are presented. The method of deriving the tensile force calculation is explained for DC as well as for AC electromagnets. There is a detailed description of the design process of a core DC electromagnet, which is then simulated in the FEMM program, and a 3D model with technical documentation is created in the Inventor program. The part also deals with measurement on electromagnets. More precisely, it is a measurement of static and dynamic tensile characteristics, measurement of electromagnets temperature rise. In the next part, transient phenomena and their measurements are explained, namely inrush current and switching overvoltage.
The influence of the chassis to the power and performance characteristics of tractors
Rašovská, Hana ; Slimařík, Dušan (referee) ; Bauer, František (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the influence of the type of tractor chassis on its utility properties. For the rating were used tractors John Deere 8 – series with wheel and track chassis, equipped with the same engine and gearbox, which were carried out for laboratory and field tests. The aim of laboratory tests was the exclusion of the difference in engine power of both tractors and the aim of field tests was to evaluate the drawbar properties of tractors with a different type of chassis. The reference parameter was especially drawbar pull, further drawbar power, slip and fuel consumption. Based on the tabular and graphical elaboration of the measured values were evaluated results.

Practical part includes measurement of force quantities of an electromagnet in different operating states and its evaluation. For analysis of dynamic quantities with finite element method was created suitable three-dimensional model of electromgnet. Model is used for simulation ofdifferent operating states. The last part describes measurement of dynamic characteristics of the electromganetic system. This part is closed with comparation of results.
The effect of tyres on the output parameters of tractors
Kopečný, Aleš ; Havlíček, Miroslav (referee) ; Bauer, František (advisor)
The thesis summarizes the results of the measurement of the output parameters of the tractor, on which were mounted three different types of tires. The measured parameters are the maximum pulling power, slippage, specific effective fuel consumption at the maximum pulling performance. The final measured and calculated results are presented in tables and graphs. The results of the measurements were processed by the use of regressive analysis.
The influence of the chassis on drawbar properties of tractors
Chmelař, Zdeněk ; Havlíček, Miroslav (referee) ; Bauer, František (advisor)
In this master thesis is analyzed the current situation in the construction chassis of tractors, in addition, a methodology for evaluating the impact of influences on drawbar properties of tractors. The main objective of this work was to analyze and conclude the measured drawbar properties of selected tractor same power and weight categories with different chassis designs. Measured and calculated values were tabular and graphically presented. When evaluating the drawbar properties were determined according tractive power and slip depending on the drawbar forces.
Design and analysis of electromagnet
Macek, Pavel ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deals with a proposal and an analysis of electromagnets. The first chapter is an introduction into solve of the problem. In the second chapter there is a general discussion about basic relations of the electromagnetic field. The third chapter is dedicated to the operation principle and construction of electromagnets and is supplemented with their common classification. The fourth chapter introduces the Finite Element Method and the FEMM programm. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the DC electromagnet, the sixth chapter analysis single-phase AC electromagnet. In the seventh chapter there is a review of results of general analysis of both electromagnets.

Vliv podvozku na tahové vlastnosti traktorů
Vimr, Lukáš
The aim of the thesis was to prepare a list of structures, used in tractors, with a focus on the chassis and axle types.Another point was to characterize the methodology for measuring the tensile properties of the concrete surface, which carries out the state testing laboratory in Nebraska.Further develop methodologies terrain measurement of tensile properties. After this, tabular and graphical data obtained from the state testing laboratory, which concerned wheeled and caterpillar tractor Challenger, where the issue of tensile properties was solved, have been processed. The terrain measurements on the stubble were chosen two tractors John Deere 8320R wheeled and caterpillar 8320RT. The measurement was focused on differences in tensile properties depending on the kind of the tractor chassis. From the analysis of the measured values shows that the caterpillar tractor has higher values of tensile properties in the measurement of on the concrete surface and on the stubble. The difference is caused by different contact surface of the chassis unit. On soft stubble there are differences in tensile properties pronounced because of deformation of the base. It is proven that we can achieve higher efficiencies of work with tracked tractor and with the fact lower fuel consumption because of better transmission of engine power.
